My locks are wavy but not kinky, so I’m trying different hairstyles all the time. I’m used to making my hair curly with a round brush, but I’m curious whether I could straighten it with the same tool.
A round brush is an appropriate tool for making hair straight.
You will need a blow-dryer and some amount of a heat protector to use before styling.
First, comb hair properly and make sure that there are no tangles or knots.
To untangle a knot, you could use a shine spray as it contains silicone that makes hair softer.
Divide your locks into several sections and clip them except one that you will straighten first.
Remember that the smaller a section is, the more control over it you have. If a section is too large, hair may get stuck in bristles.
Gently comb the first strand with a round brush, then place it underneath your hair, grip it tight near the roots and slowly pull the brush down the strand.
The brush should be followed by a hairdryer so that your locks get in between these two tools. When you get to the ends, don’t curl the brush but continue to roll it so that the ends won’t be curly.
To add extra shine, put the hairdryer on cool mode for a couple of minutes.
As you can see, this brush could be easily used for taming unruly curls (with a little help of a hairdryer).
